HC to hear Rajinikanth’s petition against Corporation today<\/p>\n

Actor Rajinikanth had filed a petition against Chennai Corporation levying a tax of Rs 6.5 lacs on his Raghavendra mandapam.
\nRajinikanth’s side has said that owing to the pandemic lockdown no social gathering took place in that mandapam so they shouldn’t be held liable for tax and should be relieved from paying it.
\nThe Chennai Corporation on 23rd last month had sent a notice to the actor which was unanswered.
\nBench helmed by Anitha Sumanth will hear the case today.<\/p>\n
