The Chennai High Court yesterday fined actor Vijay Rs 1 lakh for pursuing a case seeking exemption from paying entry tax on a Rolls-Royce car, as this week was not enough time for Rolls-Royce car owners.

Another Rolls-Royce owner is currently embroiled in controversy over the issue.

Rolls Royce cars are described as the most valuable cars in the world and the king of cars. The company’s rule is that owners of Rolls-Royce cars worth millions must also be valued. The company believes that those who own their cars should also be influential.

Sanjay Keycvat, a Shiv Sena leader from Kalyan in Maharashtra, runs a construction company.

The Maharashtra Electricity Board had last week lodged a complaint against Sanjay Keycvat at the Kolsewadi police station alleging that he had stolen electricity.

Ashok Bunde, Additional Executive Engineer, Maharashtra Power Distribution Company, visited the construction site of Sanjay Keycvat three months ago and found that Rs 34,840 worth of electricity had been stolen there.

Sanjay Keycvat was also fined Rs 15,000.

Sanjay Keycvat is said to have not paid the fine for three months. He was subsequently reported to the police. Sanjay Keycvat.  has immediately paid the outstanding amount along with the fine.

However, Sanjay Keycvat, who claims that the Maharashtra Electricity Board has deliberately made false allegations against him, has questioned why he did not take my electricity meters if he was involved in the theft.

A team from this company was sent to a place owned by Sanjay Keycvat.  Reports from there say that the team investigated and found that there were no official electrical measuring instruments and thus they were involved in power theft.
