Rolls Royce case: Actor Vijay goes to Supreme Court against verdict!
It has been reported that he is going to
appeal against the judgment of the
Chennai High Court in the matter of exemption
from the entry tax for Rolls Royce car imports.
Earlier, actor Vijay had imported a Rolls Royce luxury car from the UK in 2012.
The car did not pay entry tax and was
not registered with the regional transportation office.
Following this, the business tax department issued an order
for Vijay to pay the appropriate entry tax on the car.
Following this, actor Vijay had filed a petition in
the Chennai High Court seeking tax exemption.
During the trial of the case,
his lawyer was pursuing the case on behalf of Vijay.
However, in the petition filed, only the name Joseph Vijay was mentioned.

should pay taxes in a timely manner.
